When selecting this diode, because its forward current is large, in order to reduce power consumption, the smaller the forward voltage drop is, the better. The greater the reverse voltage, the better.

3. Pressure stabilizing pipe

Also known as Zener tube, it refers to a small voltage stabilizing tube for signal line protection. Unless the signal fluctuates greatly, it is not necessary to pay special attention to power.

4. TVs pipe

It refers to high-power transient protection, which is generally used on the power line. The voltage stabilizing value shall be selected according to the withstand voltage of the subsequent circuit, and the power shall be selected according to the fluctuation of the power signal.

5. Schottky diode

The above four types are divided by function, and the name of Schottky diode comes from its different manufacturing process from other tubes, which is completely another division method.

That is, Schottky diodes include both small signal diodes and large anti reverse diodes.

Schottky diode is characterized by small forward voltage drop, but small reverse voltage withstand. Schottky diode shall be selected as far as possible when there is no requirement for reverse withstand voltage.
